Declining Tree Quilities

Solomon Islands Trees quilities has been decling slowly as increasing logging operation in the country said Geographer up coming scholar, patrick Pikasa.

Solomon Islands Trees were rank highiest quility in the world market for the last 10 years,but according to a reseach conducted by the solomon Islands Goegraphy students of the Universitry of the South pacific last year that orgnised by Parick Pikasa with the assistance from the Ministry of Natural Resouces and Forestry in solomon Islands report indicate a 61% decline of Solomon Trees quilities.

This indicate in Next ten years solomon Islands tress can not compete in the world market.

The declining tress quilities means unsound economy and larger harvest from the forest said Pikasa.

It will be a disaster for solomon Islands in years to come because Nature takes million of years to regain their normal standard, but we still have a chance yet, this time is the time for government to forcus on new development otherwise the country experience what had happened during the ethnic tension.

But the Solomon Star News paper report, Solomon Government has been fully aware of this problem and currently working on two major Developemet in the Solomon islands, the two major development are Bina Harbour Project which is under Fisheries and Auluta Palm oil.
